Jajah Scheduled Calls

People are always asking me if they can make a Jajah call from their mobile phone. Yes, you can. It's sometimes difficult  for new users to understand that Jajah uses your regular phone, including your cell phones. (You dial the number from the computer, but you do the actual talking on your regular / cell phone).

Since Jajah is a global company, I need to talk to people all around the world and I can't always be at my computer to place the call - I often need to be away from the office, and I need to make the call on my cell phone.

FOR EXAMPLE:

I was driving to San Francisco - about 50 minutes from Palo Alto.  During the drive, I knew I  needed to talk to Roman in Vienna, the PR team in London, my mother in the east bay and  someone else in New York. All I had to do was go to Jajah and set up these calls before getting in the car. Jajah then called me every 10 minutes (as I had instructed it to ) as I drove down the road. I didn't have to fumble around trying to dial international numbers at 60mph - and they were basically free.

Slide001_2_1 HOW IT WORKS

To set up a Jajah Scheduled Call, simply go to Jajah.com and set up the call like you would any other Jajah call. You'll notice a small button under the number box, click it and it launches an elegant little floating calendar. Click on the day, set the time , it will tell you your call as been successfully scheduled. Set up more calls or simply close your computer and you're done.

Your phone will ring at the scheduled time, on the scheduled day, as will the other parties,  regardless of where in the world everyone is.

You are suddenly making a long distance Jajah call on your cell phone, probably for free if it is to  another Jajah member.

Sean in our office has taught himself to manage his daily schedule using Jajah Scheduled Calls. Before he goes home the night before,  he schedules all the calls he knows he needs to make tomorrow. The Jajah system sends him an SMS five minutes before it initiates the call (with your pre-determined message in it ). This process lets him anchor his daily activities around his calls.

We are trying to get Frederik, the youngest member of the Jajah team,  to use Jajah Scheduled Calls as an alarm clock. Set the time you want to wake up, put your cell phone next to your bed - it'll  will ring. It's you calling yourself to wake up. I've used this while traveling in Europe - not bad - no reason to carry an alarm clock anymore.
